POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Leader plays a critical role in supporting and scaling Innercore Health’s people operations within a fast-growing, mission-driven wellness organization. This leader thrives in entrepreneurial environments and embraces opportunities to rethink traditional HR practices. The ideal candidate continuously seeks innovative solutions that elevate the teammate experience, strengthen organizational culture, and support business success.

This role requires strong organizational skills, discretion, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. The HR Leader will work in a variety of HR facets including benefits administration, payroll coordination, recruiting and onboarding, training initiatives, and the continued development of HR infrastructure to support company growth. The ideal candidate is collaborative, proactive, and passionate about building strong teams and workplace culture in support of Innercore Health’s mission.

Requirements:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Manages the full employee lifecycle, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, employee development, and offboarding activities.
  2. Serves as a point of contact for employee relations matters, responding to questions and concerns with professionalism, discretion, and empathy.
  3. Maintains and administers HR systems, employee records, and documentation while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
  4. Coordinates payroll-related activities and assists with benefits administration, enrollments, changes, and employee communications.
  5. Supports performance management initiatives, including goal tracking, performance reviews, corrective actions, and employee coaching processes.
  6. Assists with the creation, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  7. Coordinates employee training, professional development, and compliance-related education initiatives.
  8. Partners closely with leadership to support organizational growth, culture development, workforce planning, and operational effectiveness.
  9. Assists with compliance efforts related to employment law, workplace regulations, and HR best practices.
  10. Supports day-to-day administrative and operational HR functions, including reporting, audits, scheduling, and special projects as assigned.
  11. Contributes to evolving team needs and priorities within a fast-paced and mission-driven environment.
  12. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional experience in Human Resources, people operations, administration, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HR systems, payroll platforms, and standard business software.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
  • Self-directed, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience in HR, recruiting, administration, or startup/growth-stage environments is preferred, but passion, motivation, and alignment with the company mission are highly valued.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, and/or REGISTRATION

All necessary training will be provided via online modules and on the job. HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent are a plus, but not required.
