Requirements
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building and maintaining large-scale production systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience designing distributed systems using technologies such as microservices, event-driven architectures, streaming platforms, or message queues.
  • Strong programming expertise in at least two of the following: Go, Java, Kotlin, or Python.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern data technologies including SQL, NoSQL, Redis, Kafka, or Pub/Sub.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives involving multiple engineering teams and external stakeholders.
  • Practical experience integrating AI into software development workflows, including automation, testing, CI/CD, observability, or engineering productivity improvements.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Product, Design, and Data Science teams to deliver customer-facing solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and elevate engineering standards through technical leadership and knowledge sharing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with regulated environments, marketplace platforms, logistics, fintech, mobile applications, or AI-powered product features is considered an asset.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $196,000 to $207,000 USD for Canadian-based candidates, depending on experience and location.
  • Flexible remote-first work environment with the freedom to work from home or other preferred locations while participating in regular in-person team events.
  • Eligibility for new hire equity grants and ongoing equity refresh programs.
  • Comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
  • Opportunities to work on highly impactful products used at global scale.
  • Collaborative engineering culture focused on innovation, mentorship, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies, AI-driven development practices, and large-scale distributed systems.
