ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK:
Priority Life Care is a management company that works with senior living communities across the country. The AP Specialist position will work with assigned communities and give support to their AP functions.

The impact you'll make:
- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries
- Ensures accounts payable are processed in an accurate and timely fashion
- Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments
- Ensures audit and contract requirements are met
- Coordinates with community leaders to ensure monthly reports are received timely and accurately
- Ensures 1099s, sales and use tax, and property tax returns are submitted timely and accurately
- Reconciles and close out balance sheet accounts
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality
Qualifications:
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
- High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school preferred
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Preferred experience using Yardi, Coupa, Concur
