Quality Assurance (QA) - Pleno (Regulatrio Pix)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) - Pleno (Regulatório Pix) based in Brazil.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Quality Assurance professional who is passionate about delivering reliable, high-quality software in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle, contributing from discovery and requirements analysis to test execution and continuous improvement. You will help ensure the quality of web, mobile, and API solutions by combining manual and automated testing practices while supporting regulatory initiatives related to Pix. The position offers the chance to influence testing strategies, improve engineering processes, and collaborate within an agile culture that values innovation, knowledge sharing, and technical excellence. Depending on your location, you may work remotely or within a hybrid model.

Accountabilities:
  • Design, document, and execute functional, exploratory, regression, web, mobile, and API test scenarios to ensure software quality and compliance.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve automated test suites, contributing to reliable and efficient testing processes.
  • Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders during discovery, requirements analysis, and agile ceremonies to identify quality risks early.
  • Identify, document, monitor, and validate software defects, ensuring issues are properly resolved before release.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in quality processes, testing frameworks, and engineering best practices.
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date testing documentation that supports team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging testing technologies, recommending new approaches when appropriate.
  • Participate in technical quality initiatives, sharing knowledge and supporting the evolution of testing practices across the organization.
Requirements
  • Experience designing test plans, specifications, and test execution using BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
  • Hands-on experience with test automation using Python.
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
  • Experience performing requirements analysis and creating comprehensive test scenarios.
  • Practical experience testing REST APIs, web applications, and mobile applications.
  • Strong knowledge of functional, exploratory, and regression testing methodologies.
  • Experience developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks.
  • Proficiency with Git version control.
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, Rest Assured, performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust, or Gatling), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps is considered a plus.
  • Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, collaboration, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset.
