What You'll Do

As General Manager, you will be responsible for leading the hotel's overall performance and ensuring excellence in every department.

Operational Leadership

* Implement and maintain Marriott and management company standards.

* Lead daily hotel operations while ensuring consistent service excellence.

* Develop, coach, and mentor department leaders and associates.

* Create accountability and clear responsibilities throughout the management team.

* Ensure appropriate leadership coverage for all shifts.

Financial Performance

* Manage hotel profitability and overall financial performance.

* Analyze revenues, expenses, labor, and controllable costs to meet budget goals.

* Drive topline revenue through collaboration with Sales and Revenue Management teams.

* Monitor forecasting, payroll, and inventory controls.

Guest Satisfaction & Quality Assurance

* Create an outstanding guest experience that exceeds expectations.

* Maintain and improve guest satisfaction scores.

* Successfully pass all Marriott Quality Assurance requirements.

* Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and brand regulations.

* Prepare for and pass all inspections and audits.

Sales & Revenue Growth

* Partner with Sales and Revenue Management teams to maximize occupancy and ADR.

* Participate in regular strategy meetings and performance reviews.

* Support market growth initiatives and community engagement efforts.

Team Development

* Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional talent.

* Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

* Provide ongoing coaching, training, and career development opportunities.

Communication & Reporting

* Keep ownership and corporate leadership informed of hotel performance.

* Ensure timely completion of all required reporting.

* Maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders.

What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications

* Minimum of 4 years of hotel leadership experience in:

* Front Office

* Housekeeping

* Sales & Marketing

* Hotel Operations Management

* Strong financial and P&L management experience.

* Proven ability to lead and motivate teams.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Exceptional guest service focus.

* Experience implementing payroll and inventory controls.

Preferred Qualifications

* Associate Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.

* Bachelor's Degree preferred.

* Marriott brand experience strongly preferred.

* Extended-stay hotel leadership experience is a plus.

* Proven sales and marketing success.
