This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Clinical Implementation Specialist based in Canada.
This is a remote, highly customer-facing role focused on implementing clinical technology across major hospital systems.
You will serve as a clinical and technical expert, helping healthcare teams optimize workflows and adopt solutions safely and effectively.
You will lead education, training, implementation planning, go-live support, and post-implementation activities.
Working closely with clinicians, hospital leadership, sales teams, and technical stakeholders, you will help drive adoption and improve clinical outcomes.
The role combines clinical expertise, project management, education, relationship building, and technology implementation.
You will operate with significant autonomy while supporting complex, system-wide implementations across Canada and the United States.
With travel of up to 75%, this is an opportunity to directly contribute to technology that supports critical and lifesaving patient care.
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of clinical education and training programs across assigned hospital accounts.
- Assess customer workflows, identify learning and process needs, and recommend product configurations or approaches aligned with clinical practice.
- Provide hands-on support throughout implementation, including pre-planning, clinician education, system go-live, and post-implementation troubleshooting.
- Deliver comprehensive training and in-services to clinicians, super-users, end-users, newly hired staff, and other customer stakeholders.
- Apply adult-learning principles to assess competency, identify learning needs, and develop effective educational programs.
- Serve as the clinical and technical product expert, helping customer teams understand the technology and its role within the broader chain of resuscitation.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with nurses, physicians, department leaders, hospital executives, and other customer stakeholders.
- Partner closely with territory management, sales, training, technical support, and leadership teams to coordinate account activities and address customer needs.
- Act as a project manager for implementation and education initiatives, managing schedules, deliverables, communications, and follow-up.
- Support quality-improvement initiatives and help influence clinical processes, protocols, and resuscitation practices through education and evidence-based information.
- Communicate account updates, leads, risks, and customer concerns to the appropriate internal teams and escalate issues when necessary.
- Support sales activities, trade shows, speaking engagements, distributor training, and other customer-facing initiatives as required.
- Manage travel and cross-border logistics to support customer sites across Canada and the United States.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge and continuously develop expertise in emerging clinical practices, technologies, and educational approaches.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred; equivalent relevant professional experience may also be considered.
- Current experience as a Registered Nurse, Paramedic, Respiratory Therapist, or comparable clinical professional, with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Clinical education and healthcare training experience is strongly preferred.
- Project management experience is an advantage, particularly in complex healthcare or technology implementation environments.
- AHA Instructor certification in BLS, ACLS, and/or PALS is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to educate clinical professionals effectively and influence practice through evidence-based education and clinical literature.
- Strong understanding of hospital-based clinical environments and the ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals at different levels.
- Ability to act as a clinical and technical subject-matter expert while translating complex technology into practical guidance for end users.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Comfortable interacting with senior hospital leaders and C-suite stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to adapt quickly to unexpected customer situations.
- Highly autonomous, flexible, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple priorities independently.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and client-facing communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, iPad-based tools, and other common technology platforms.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain a professional, solutions-oriented attitude.
- Current passport and willingness to travel up to 75%, including cross-border travel between Canada and the United States.
- Must be based in British Columbia near a major airport.
- Annual salary range of $90,000–$135,000 CAD, depending on geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
