Site Contracts Specialist I /Contract Manager I

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Site Contracts Specialist I / Contract Manager I based in Brazil.

This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career contracts professional to build expertise in clinical research and site start-up activities.
You will support the negotiation, execution, and management of clinical trial agreements, amendments, and site budgets.
Working within a dedicated team supporting a global biopharmaceutical client, you will collaborate with investigative sites and internal stakeholders.
The role combines contract administration, budget coordination, quality control, and stakeholder management in a regulated environment.
You will help identify and resolve issues that could affect study timelines and site activation.
The position offers meaningful exposure to clinical trial contracting while contributing to research that can help bring innovative therapies to patients.
It is well suited to someone who is organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and motivated to grow within clinical research.

Accountabilities
  • Manage the execution of Clinical Trial Agreement amendments and related contract documents using approved templates, fallback language, and established guidance.
  • Manage the execution of Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements using approved templates and applicable procedures.
  • Support site budget amendment negotiations within established parameters and escalation guidelines.
  • Track contract and amendment negotiations, maintaining accurate records in sponsor systems and internal tracking tools.
  • Review and quality-check contract deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and appropriate documentation.
  • Support the finalization and execution of Clinical Trial Agreements and initial site budgets when required.
  • Attend internal and external project meetings and provide updates on assigned contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support clinical trial start-up activities and site activation timelines.
  • Build productive working relationships with investigative sites and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify issues that may affect contract execution or study timelines and escalate them appropriately.
  • Prepare contract and budget escalation packages when necessary.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, training activities, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Health, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Up to 2 years of experience in clinical research, site contracts and budgets, contract administration, or a related area.
  • Basic understanding of Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs), site budgets, budget negotiations, and contract lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial start-up activities and site activation processes.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliverables, and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or clinical research environment is a plus.
  • Exposure to clinical trial agreements, research budgets, or study start-up activities is desirable.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial management systems (CTMS) or contract tracking tools is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of ICH-GCP and broader clinical research processes is a plus.
