Job Description
As a Marketing Intern at Sewickley Academy, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our school's online presence and engagement through various social media platforms as well as through our website. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing within the dynamic environment of a small independent Pre-K-12 institution. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Marketing and the Marketing and Branding Specialist to develop and implement strategies that effectively promote our school to prospective families, current students and families, and the wider community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management: Create engaging content for our school's social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Monitor and respond to comments and messages to foster positive interactions and enhance community engagement.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor social media and website analytics to track the performance of posts and campaigns.
- Photography and Videography: Capture high-quality photos and videos to be used in marketing materials and social media posts.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Creative thinking and a keen eye for design.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Photography and videography skills are a plus.
