Job Description
Revenue Cycle Supervisor - Professional Building

Work Hours: Fully Remote, Full Time Days (40hours) 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Department Highlights:
What You Will Do:
• Assist Revenue Cycle Managers in a supervisory role to ensure efficient and optimal team performance.
• Oversee daily revenue cycle functions and acts as front-line working leader to support and assist day-to-day operations, troubleshoot issues, answer team questions, prioritize follow-up efforts, train, and educate team, as needed.
• Monitor teams' daily responsibilities, including oversight of activity to ensure timely processing of credits, claims and follow-up on accounts.
• Facilitate cross-training between AR teams and cross coverage, as necessary.
• Conduct quality reviews and monitor productivity metrics. Communicate results to team members. In conjunction with the Revenue Cycle Manager, will determine action plans, up to and including, any necessary PIPs.
• Monitor weekly and monthly metrics and makes necessary adjustments to achieve established revenue cycle goals and benchmarks.
• Work closely with Revenue Cycle Managers to improve processes for quality and efficiencies.
• Demonstrates strong technical skills to review and evaluate trending metric data for root-cause analysis.
• Helps resolve more complex and/or escalated billing, insurance follow-up, and credit inquiries and problems, handling follow-up questions and resolving user discrepancies or errors.
• Consistently organizes, evaluates, and executes on strategies to improve department performance metrics through Epic based reporting packages.
• Oversee and support designated team task (i.e., coverage, escalated reimbursement questions, payor issues).
What You Need:
Education
• High School Diploma or Equivalent 4 Years Experience in PB AR management, insurance follow-up, insurance billing or relevant revenue cycle leadership required Or
• Associate's Degree Business or healthcare related field 2 Years Experience in PB AR management, insurance follow-up, insurance billing or relevant revenue cycle leadership required
Experience
• 4 Years Experience in PB AR management, insurance follow-up, insurance billing or relevant revenue cycle leadership (without degree) required
• 2 Years Experience in PB AR management, insurance follow-up, insurance billing or relevant revenue cycle leadership (with degree) required
