Talent Coach

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Talent Coach based in Germany.

This is a remote opportunity to help high-performing professionals strengthen their performance, communication, and client-service skills.
You will work one-on-one with talented professionals from around the world, helping them address challenges and return to strong performance.
The role combines coaching, performance management, data-informed decision-making, and continuous improvement in a highly distributed environment.
You will also contribute to workshops, group coaching, interview preparation, and the development of resources that support talent success at scale.
Your work will have a direct impact on both individual professional development and the quality of service delivered to clients.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams while enjoying significant autonomy and responsibility in a global remote organization.
This role is ideal for an experienced coach, performance specialist, or HR professional who is action-oriented, empathetic, adaptable, and passionate about helping exceptional talent thrive.

Accountabilities
  • Provide ongoing coaching and practical guidance to professionals on project management, communication, productivity, and workplace professionalism.
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions to identify, address, and remediate performance issues through clear objectives, actionable feedback, and relevant resources.
  • Investigate previous performance information and relevant data to assess individual situations and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Review interview recordings to verify adherence to platform standards and provide constructive guidance when improvements are required.
  • Deliver or support live webinars, workshops, and group coaching sessions designed to prevent common performance and communication challenges.
  • Assess incoming coaching requests, prioritize cases, and select the most appropriate coaching approach based on established guidelines, available data, and individual needs.
  • Document coaching activities and outcomes to measure impact, identify trends, and help scale effective coaching programs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams when specialized support or additional expertise is required.
  • Prepare professionals for interviews and help them develop the skills and behaviors needed to succeed in client engagements.
  • Curate, improve, and expand coaching resources, playbooks, and learning materials.
  • Monitor existing and emerging processes and identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of coaching operations.
  • Progressively take ownership of complex productivity and performance cases and become a subject matter expert in talent coaching practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent higher-education qualification.
  • 3+ years of experience in performance management, professional coaching, talent development, or HR business partner roles.
  • Experience working with technical professionals such as software developers, designers, project managers, or other specialized talent is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent customer-centric communication skills, with exceptional professionalism across video calls, email, Slack, and other digital communication channels.
  • Ability to conduct sensitive feedback and performance conversations objectively while guiding individuals toward constructive, measurable actions.
  • Strong action-oriented coaching style, with the ability to synthesize multiple sources of feedback and performance data into clear and practical development plans.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills, including the ability to make effective recommendations when information is incomplete or ambiguous.
  • Resourceful, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a highly distributed and remote environment.
  • Highly adaptable, with the ability to learn new systems, processes, and priorities quickly as the organization evolves.
  • Genuine passion for helping professionals develop and for improving how organizations connect with exceptional talent.
  • Strong continuous-improvement mindset and openness to receiving and acting on challenging feedback.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple coaching cases and initiatives effectively.
  • Strong individual-contributor mindset, with the ability to take ownership, execute independently, and lead through expertise rather than authority.
  • Fluent English is required, as all professional communication and application materials must be conducted in English.
  • Ability to work remotely from Germany or within the supported European time zones; visa sponsorship or relocation assistance is not provided.
Benefits
  • 100% remote work: Work from home in a fully distributed international environment.
  • Global exposure: Coach and support exceptional professionals working across more than 100 countries.
  • Meaningful impact: Directly contribute to the professional development, performance, and success of highly skilled talent.
  • High autonomy: Enjoy significant freedom and accountability in how you approach coaching and solve complex performance challenges.
  • Collaborative environment: Work alongside experienced career and professional coaches and collaborate with teams across the organization.
  • Professional growth: Develop expertise in coaching, performance management, talent development, and scalable remote-work practices.
  • Learning opportunities: Gain exposure to diverse professional backgrounds, industries, and specialized technical skill sets.
  • Flexible remote culture: Work within a distributed environment designed around digital collaboration and autonomy.
  • Continuous improvement: Contribute ideas that can shape coaching processes, resources, and operational practices as the organization scales.
  • International team environment: Build relationships and exchange knowledge with colleagues and professionals from around the globe.
  • Purpose-driven work: Help exceptional professionals overcome challenges and perform at their best while contributing to a modern approach to distributed talent management.
