The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Full Time Social Worker LCSW at our Neptune location. The Social Worker LCSW provides intake assessment, individual therapy and support to clients enrolled in the Early Intervention Support Services Program.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work required. (MSW)
- LCSW licensure required.
- Must possess and maintain a valid NJ State Driver’s License (needed for off-sight community events).
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in clinical social work, preferably working with adults.
Preferred:
Scheduling Requirements:
- Full Time (40 Hours)
- Monday – Thursday: 8am – 7pm, Friday: 8am – 5pm and Saturday: 10am – 4pm (program hours can change)
- 2 Evenings a week required
- Every other Saturday required
Essential Functions:
- Formulates treatment plans, performs initial diagnostic evaluations and maintains clinical records.
- Provides psychotherapy, assessment and evaluation services.
- Provides case management services.
- Provides individual, family and group therapy.
- Engages in offsite client visits and community outreaches.
- Prepares and maintains statistical reports and records as required by regulatory organizational and official agencies.
- Identifies safety issues such as hazardous environments i.e. (damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas and medical errors).
- Participate in meetings, conferences and workshops as needed.
- Supervises social work students as assigned.
