Job Description
Reports to
Station Manager or Lead Station Agent
Qualifications:
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Preferred experience as a Station Agent in a Part 121 environment.
• Proficient in customer service (above wing) and ramp duties (below wing).
• Strong customer service skills with solid examples.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds consistently.
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Ability to remain calm in adverse conditions.
• Strong multitasking abilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
These shall include, but are not limited to the following:
• Keeping the station orderly and clean.
• Keeping all equipment in working order and reporting if repairs need to be made.
• Ensuring safety practices are being followed and reporting hazardous conditions.
• Ensuring safety and security regulations are met when passengers access the tarmac for aircraft boarding and deplaning.
• Maintaining currency on all training requirements.
• Conducting GSC or CRO duties, after receiving and successfully passing training.
• Complying with local airport, FAA, and TSA policies.
• Loading catering supplies and equipment as needed.
• Removing trash and straightening cabin when applicable.
• Assisting with station opening and closing.
• Checking in passengers and baggage. Maintain confidentiality of passenger's flight and personal information.
• Following security procedures.
• Performing Cargo Load Report procedures.
• Enplaning and deplaning passengers.
• Aircraft security search procedures.
• Ensuring all monies are accounted for, secured and deposited per Company procedures.
• For those that operate ground equipment, any restrictions noted on the license will also apply when operating Company-owned vehicles.
• General ground handling of aircraft, baggage and other ground operations.
• Handling aircraft operation while it’s on the ground.
• Marshalling aircraft for parking and departure; wing-walking if assigned.
• Loading and unloading baggage; carry-on and checked baggage.
• Ground equipment operation.
