Job Overview:
We are looking for a Psychotherapist to join our team to evaluate patients' psychotherapeutic needs and provide psychotherapy for inpatient and outpatient populations as indicated. This individual will work effectively as a team member in a hospital setting, building therapeutic relationships with professional teams, children, adolescents, and parents or significant others. Additionally, you will provide supervision to staff, fellows, interns, and externs as indicated, while delivering effective team consultation to meet our department's needs.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree with at least 1 years experience.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW.
- American Heart Association BLS Provider Certification required.
- Tact, initiative and judgment in performance of duties.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member in a hospital setting.
- Ability to relate therapeutically with professional team, children, adolescents, and parents and or significant others.
Scheduling Requirements
- Per Diem (Day)
- Evening work expected at all work locations
Essential Functions:
- Provides effective individual, family group psychotherapy as indicated.
- Identifies realistic goals for psychotherapy.
- Attends program development and case conferences as indicated for patients treated or evaluated.
- Provides supervision to staff, fellows, interns and externs as indicated.
- Provides effective team consultation as needed.
- Provides in services to staff and community agencies as requested by Supervisor.
- Disseminates findings accurately and sensitively, according to Department policy.
- Meets minimum annual expected volumes.
