This role is responsible for overseeing production teams, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and driving efficient, high-volume output. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational skills and experience in regulated manufacturing environments such as food, nutraceutical, hemp, and production. **Key Responsibilities ****Leadership & Team Management*** Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production associates across assigned shifts.* Plan, assign, and monitor workloads to meet production schedules and performance goals.* Provide clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to foster accountability and teamwork.* Support onboarding and training of new employees; identify ongoing development needs.* Partner with HR and Safety to address attendance, performance, and conduct issues in accordance with company policies.**Production Operations*** Ensure daily production goals, quality standards, and output requirements are consistently met.* Perform air, water, and plumbing repairs supporting facility and equipment needs.* Ensure all work complies with safety and regulatory standards.* Maintain organized, clean, and GMP-compliant work areas at all times.**Safety & Compliance*** Enforce all safety policies and Cal/OSHA requirements.* Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to GMP standards.* Participate in safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.* Collaborate with the Safety Manager and HR on corrective and preventive actions.**Communication & Reporting*** Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate goals, priorities, and safety reminders.* Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, waste, and attendance.* Prepare and submit daily shift and performance reports to the Production Manager.* Ensure clear communication and handoff between shifts.**Continuous Improvement*** Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.* Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. * Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and operational excellence.**Qualifications *** Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.* Experience: 3–5 years in manufacturing, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.* Industry: Experience in food, nutraceutical, hemp, or cannabis manufacturing preferred.* Knowledge: Strong understanding of production workflows, scheduling, quality control, GMP, and OSHA compliance.* Language: Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.**Skills & Competencies *** Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.* Proven ability to troubleshoot production and personnel challenges.* Proficient in Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.**Work Environment *** On-site role in a manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, and heavy equipment.* Requires standing and walking for extended periods.* Occasional evenings or weekends may be required based on production needs.* Not eligible for remote or hybrid work.**Join Eterna Management, LLC. and be a key leader in driving safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
