Business Development Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Business Development Manager based in United States.

This role plays a critical part in driving early-stage pipeline creation and accelerating enterprise healthcare sales opportunities. You will act as the bridge between marketing-generated interest and sales-led evaluations, ensuring that qualified accounts move smoothly from initial qualification through discovery and onward to evaluation. Working in a highly structured, outbound-driven environment, you will engage prospects through multi-channel outreach and help activate cold, dormant, or early-stage accounts. You will collaborate closely with sales leaders to support account-based strategies and ensure every opportunity is enriched with the right insights and context. The role requires strong organizational discipline, persistence, and comfort engaging complex healthcare organizations. This is a high-visibility position where your work directly shapes pipeline quality and sales effectiveness in a mission-driven healthcare technology environment.

Accountabilities:
  • Own early-stage opportunity progression from qualification through discovery, and support transition into evaluation in partnership with sales leadership.
  • Execute structured sales playbooks to ensure all required exit criteria are met before advancing opportunities to the next stage.
  • Conduct multi-channel outbound outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate meetings and activate target accounts.
  • Engage inbound leads and marketing-qualified prospects with rapid follow-up to ensure timely conversion into sales conversations.
  • Collaborate with account executives to design and execute account-based marketing and sales plays for priority healthcare systems.
  • Build and maintain detailed account and relationship maps to track stakeholders, influence networks, and decision-making structures.
  • Conduct discovery support activities, including research, note-taking, and capturing structured insights to support opportunity progression.
  • Prepare lightweight sales enablement materials such as call prep documents and slide decks using standardized templates.
Requirements:
  • 2–5 years of experience in business development, sales development, inside sales, or account development roles in B2B SaaS or enterprise environments.
  • Proven track record of generating meetings, advancing pipeline, or activating dormant accounts through outbound efforts.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce and tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator and outbound sequencing platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior stakeholders and navigating gatekeepers.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, tasks, and priorities simultaneously.
  • High resilience, persistence, and comfort working in structured outbound and performance-driven environments.
  • Ability to understand complex healthcare workflows and quickly ramp on industry-specific concepts.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $110,000 to $150,000 USD depending on experience and location
  • Open paid time off and flexible work arrangements
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Paid parental leave and family support benefits
  • Professional development support and learning opportunities
  • Wellness, technology, and home office stipends
  • Employee stock option program and long-term incentive opportunities
  • Employee referral bonuses and performance-based rewards
  • Inclusive, mission-driven culture focused on healthcare innovation and impact
