This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Engineer III, Frontend - Account Experience based in Mexico.

This role sits at the core of a global payments infrastructure platform, focused on shaping how merchants interact with complex financial systems through intuitive, high-performance user experiences. You will be responsible for building and evolving the frontend surfaces that power account setup, operational workflows, monitoring tools, and AI-assisted merchant experiences. Working in a product-driven, remote-first environment, you will own end-to-end delivery of impactful frontend initiatives, from early architecture decisions to production monitoring and iteration. The role blends strong engineering craftsmanship with product thinking, requiring close attention to performance, usability, and scalability. You will contribute to shaping frontend architecture, raising engineering standards, and ensuring a cohesive merchant experience across multiple surfaces. This is a high-impact position where your work directly influences reliability, usability, and business outcomes at scale.

Accountabilities

Own and deliver frontend initiatives end-to-end within the Account Experience domain, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and user-focused merchant-facing interfaces.

  • Lead frontend development across merchant setup flows, operational dashboards, monitoring tools, and payment-related UI surfaces
  • Take ownership of architectural decisions, contributing to RFCs, ADRs, and system design discussions with minimal supervision
  • Build composable, performant, and accessible UI components that support complex financial workflows
  • Monitor production systems using metrics and dashboards, proactively identifying and resolving issues
  • Maintain a high engineering quality bar through clean, tested, and maintainable code practices
  • Participate in incident response, taking ownership of resolution and clear stakeholder communication
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to refine requirements and improve system design
  • Contribute to improving frontend standards, tooling, and shared architecture across the platform
  • Share knowledge and mentor peers to raise the overall engineering quality of the team
Requirements

This role requires strong frontend engineering expertise, architectural thinking, and the ability to independently deliver production-grade systems.

  • 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience delivering production-scale applications
  • Strong expertise in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks, with experience in building complex UI systems
  • Proven ability to independently own features from scoping and design through production deployment
  • Deep understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and scalable UI design
  • Experience building accessible and maintainable interfaces in high-scale or high-impact environments
  • Strong ability to contribute to architectural discussions and evaluate technical trade-offs
  • Excellent coding standards with strong testing practices and attention to maintainability
  • Strong communication skills, especially in distributed and async-first environments
  • Ability to understand both technical and business context behind product decisions
  • Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven engineering environments
