ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Telemarketer, you will play a key role in helping our agency connect with prospective customers and create opportunities for our licensed sales team. This position is focused on outbound follow-up with internet leads, quote requests, cross-sell opportunities, aged leads, and prospects who need additional contact attempts.
This role is all about persistence, communication, and creating momentum. You'll spend most of your time making outbound calls, sending texts, following up with prospects, setting appointments, and transferring interested customers to licensed team members for coverage discussions and quotes.
This is not a sales or licensed insurance role. You will not discuss coverage details, pricing, or sell insurance products directly.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow up with internet leads and quote requests
- Make outbound calls and send text messages to prospective customers
- Set appointments for licensed sales team members
- Transfer qualified interested prospects to licensed producers
- Track follow-up activity and maintain organized lead notes
- Consistently work through assigned lead lists and follow-up tasks
- Help keep the agency pipeline active and moving forward
QUALIFICATIONS
- Comfortable spending a large portion of the day on the phone
- Positive attitude with strong persistence and follow-through
- Organized, dependable, and coachable
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle rejection professionally and stay motivated
- Spanish bilingual skills are a major plus
SCHEDULE
- Flexible part-time or full-time schedule available
- Preferred availability includes late afternoons and early evenings
COMPENSATION
- $18-$22/hour depending on experience
- Bonus opportunities for qualified life insurance call transfers
- Additional performance bonuses based on activity, dial volume, contact rate, consistency, and appointment setting results
