We are seeking a friendly and reliable Part-Time Admissions Team Member to join our Guest Services team, delivering excellent customer service while ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all guests.
Status: Part Time, 20-30 hours per week
Pay rate: $19.00/ hour
Schedule: 9:00 am - 4:30 pm Sunday to Thursday
**MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK A SCHEDULE that WILL INCLUDE WEEKENDS, EVENINGS AND HOLIDAYS. **
Summary of Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcome guests at ticket windows and entrance scanning stations, creating a positive first impression.
- Assist guests in selecting appropriate admission and membership options based on their needs.
- Accurately process ticket transactions using the Gateway Ticketing System.
- Verify, scan, and validate a variety of ticket and membership types efficiently.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all programs, offerings, and facility information to support guest inquiries.
- Respond to questions with helpful information and personalized recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and professional workstation at all times.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Education/Experience:
- High School Student, High School diploma or GED equivalent
- P.O.S./Cashiering Experience
- Prior Customer Service Experience
Skills/Abilities:
- Friendly, personable, and confident engaging with guests; consistently demonstrates strong customer service and guest relations skills.
- Reliable and dependable, with a strong commitment to punctuality and scheduled shifts.
- Team-oriented and collaborative, with a willingness to support colleagues and assist wherever needed.
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately while maintaining attention to detail.
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable operating basic equipment, including small power and hand tools as needed.
- Demonstrates strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities under pressure.
Working Conditions:
- Job Conditions/Work Location: Working onboard a former Navy Aircraft Carrier in all weather conditions, indoor and outdoor.
- Physical Requirements: Sitting and standing for long periods of time. Bend, stoop, and lift to move and retrieve materials.
- Equipment Operated: Computer, printers, fax machine, telephone, handheld radio, copier, and scanner.
