Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Lifecycle Marketing based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, data, and customer experience, leading lifecycle marketing programs that directly shape how customers engage with and stay connected to brands. You will oversee multi-channel journeys that span email, SMS, push notifications, and loyalty programs, ensuring every touchpoint is optimized for retention and long-term value. The position blends hands-on execution with high-level strategy, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building scalable programs while also diving into performance data. You’ll partner closely with clients and internal teams to translate insights into actionable lifecycle strategies that drive measurable growth. Operating in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, you’ll play a key role in shaping customer journeys across diverse industries. The work is highly collaborative, data-informed, and centered on continuous optimization and experimentation.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and manage lifecycle marketing programs across a portfolio of clients, ensuring strong execution across retention, engagement, and acquisition initiatives.
  • Design and optimize end-to-end customer journeys, including welcome, onboarding, nurture, cart abandonment, win-back, and loyalty flows.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to clients, using performance data and lifecycle best practices to guide recommendations and campaign direction.
  • Oversee multi-channel execution across email, SMS, push notifications, loyalty programs, and other owned marketing channels.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies focused on messaging, segmentation, creative, timing, and channel performance.
  • Monitor KPIs such as engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue, and translate insights into actionable optimizations.
  • Collaborate with analytics, engineering, and media teams to improve targeting, measurement, and overall lifecycle performance.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, retention marketing, or marketing automation using platforms such as Klaviyo, Braze, HubSpot, Marketo, SFMC, or similar tools.
  • Strong expertise in customer segmentation, personalization, automation, and retention/loyalty strategies across the customer lifecycle.
  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and communicate performance insights and strategic recommendations clearly and confidently.
  • Hands-on experience executing and optimizing multi-channel lifecycle campaigns that drive engagement and revenue growth.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., GA4) and UTM tracking implementation.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, proactive mindset, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
