Accountabilities:

Develop, maintain, and evolve data engineering solutions, ensuring high standards of data quality, availability, and performance.
Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and delivery pipelines across multiple data sources.
Develop and maintain SQL-based routines and data processing logic within analytical and operational environments.
Perform data modeling and implement best practices in architecture, coding standards, and scalable design.
Manage version control processes using Git/GitHub, including branching, merging, and conflict resolution.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate deployments and data workflows.
Work with AWS services, especially Amazon Redshift and Amazon S3, to support data platform operations.
Participate in technical discussions, requirements analysis, and solution design aligned with business needs.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data performance, reliability, and scalability.

Requirements:

Experience in software development and strong programming logic skills.
Knowledge of Linux environments and command-line operations.
Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub and version control workflows.
Intermediate SQL knowledge, including data modeling, stored procedures, and query optimization.
Experience working with AWS, particularly Amazon Redshift and Amazon S3.
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Understanding of software engineering best practices, including versioning and continuous integration.
Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.

Nice to have:

Advanced SQL knowledge, especially in Amazon Redshift.
Experience with Redshift architecture (distribution styles, sort keys, WLM, performance tuning).
Advanced AWS experience in scalable, secure, and efficient architectures.
Experience with large-scale, high-availability data environments.
Strong skills in query and data pipeline performance optimization.
