Revenue Application Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Revenue Application Manager based in the United States.

This role is a key leadership position within a revenue systems environment, responsible for overseeing the performance, stability, and continuous improvement of billing and claims applications. You will guide a team of application analysts supporting critical revenue cycle technologies, ensuring accurate, efficient, and reliable system functionality across healthcare operations. The position blends technical oversight with people management, requiring close collaboration with operational leaders and subject matter experts. You will play a central role in aligning system capabilities with business and clinical workflows while maintaining high standards for quality and compliance. Accountabilities:
  • Lead and supervise application analysts responsible for the design, build, testing, validation, and support of billing and claims systems
  • Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and mentorship to ensure effective execution of team objectives and professional development
  • Oversee team workload planning, scheduling, on-call coverage, and time management activities
  • Track, report, and communicate progress on work plans, risks, and issue resolution to stakeholders and leadership
  • Ensure adherence to change control processes, issue tracking standards, and system governance procedures
  • Drive accountability for delivery timelines, quality standards, and operational performance across all system initiatives
  • Serve as an escalation point for production issues and coordinate resolution with technical and leadership teams
  • Partner with operational stakeholders to analyze workflows, refine system functionality, and improve revenue cycle performance
  • Support documentation, testing, training, and continuous improvement efforts across application processes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Administration, Business Administration, or equivalent experience/training
  • At least 2 years of systems analyst experience or relevant healthcare operational/clinical systems experience
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience in a technical or systems-focused environment
  • Strong understanding of EMR or healthcare system functionality and revenue cycle processes
  • Ability to manage teams, prioritize competing demands, and ensure timely delivery of complex initiatives
  • Experience working with stakeholders across operational and technical functions in a healthcare environment
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a focus on accountability and collaboration
  • Ability to operate effectively in a regulated, process-driven environment with attention to quality and compliance
