Sr. FP&A Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. FP&A Analyst based in the United States.

The successful candidate will play a key role in forecasting, expense management, workforce planning, and operational reporting while partnering with stakeholders across multiple functions. Accountabilities
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense planning activities by developing financial models, performing variance analysis, and contributing to business group planning initiatives.
  • Analyze workforce-related expenses, including headcount management, resource allocation, contractor spending, and vendor costs, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Manage monthly financial reporting processes by gathering actual results, preparing accruals, maintaining planning systems, and developing analytical tools to support strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial insights, support budget preparation efforts, and strengthen business partnerships.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities that impact business outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing reporting processes, refining financial models, and improving data quality and usability.
  • Assist leadership with financial analysis and recommendations that support operational and strategic objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related analytical discipline.
  • 4–6+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Corporate Finance, or a similar financial role.
  • Experience within the technology sector, particularly SaaS or subscription-based business models, is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced modeling and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience with financial and business systems such as Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Salesforce, Power BI, or OpenAir is considered a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, or Gemini to improve productivity, decision-making, or problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing priorities independently in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong time-management skills with the flexibility to adapt to shifting business needs.
  • Preference may be given to candidates located within the Pacific Time Zone due to operational collaboration requirements.
