Sr Manager Global Contract Compliance Bids & Tenders

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Manager Global Contract Compliance Bids & Tenders based in United States.

This senior leadership role is focused on shaping and optimizing global commercial contracting, bid, and tender execution across a complex life sciences portfolio.
You will be responsible for driving disciplined, value-based deal structures that balance growth, profitability, and risk management across capital equipment, consumables, and services.
The position plays a critical role in improving commercial execution by enhancing deal quality, accelerating cycle times, and strengthening pricing and contract discipline.
You will lead a global, matrixed function partnering closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams to support strategic and high-value customer opportunities.
The role requires strong transformation leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
You will help define how global deal enablement operates, ensuring scalable processes, consistent governance, and high-performing execution standards.
This is a high-impact role that directly contributes to revenue growth, margin optimization, and enterprise commercial excellence.

Accountabilities:
  • Define and lead the global strategy for contract compliance, bid and tender execution, and deal enablement across a diverse portfolio including capital equipment, consumables, and services.
  • Drive global standards for contract structure, pricing discipline, and tender execution to ensure consistency, quality, and strong financial outcomes.
  • Lead strategic support for complex, high-value deals by partnering with Sales Leadership to shape pricing, negotiation strategy, and commercial structures.
  • Improve deal execution efficiency by reducing cycle times, enhancing win rates, and increasing overall deal quality through structured enablement processes.
  • Partner with Finance and Commercial Analytics teams to ensure strong financial modeling, margin optimization, and risk assessment in all deal activities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Sales, Operations, and other stakeholders to align contract and deal strategies with enterprise objectives.
  • Build and maintain KPI dashboards to track performance metrics such as margin, pricing compliance, win rates, and deal cycle performance, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and develop a global team, optimizing operating models, workflows, and capabilities across regions to ensure scalability and execution excellence.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial operations, contract management, pricing, bid/tender management, or deal enablement within life sciences, diagnostics, medical devices, or similar industries.
  • Proven experience managing complex commercial deals across capital equipment, consumables, and service-based offerings.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to assess deal economics, profitability, risk, and pricing structures.
  • Demonstrated leadership of global, matrixed teams with strong influence and change management capabilities.
  • Experience working closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Commercial Analytics teams in enterprise environments.
  • Strong executive communication, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead transformation initiatives and build high-performing, disciplined commercial organizations.
  • Up to 25% global travel required.
