Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $110,000 – $115,000 per year (commensurate with experience).

Position Summary

The Assistant Clinical Director (BCBA) will be a pivotal leader within the organization, responsible for supporting the clinical integrity, quality of care, and daily operations of our ABA programs in Mesa, AZ. This role requires a strong clinical background and exceptional leadership skills to mentor BCBAs and RBTs, ensure adherence to best practices, and collaborate closely with the Clinical Director to drive team success and high-quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical Leadership & Oversight

  • Provide expert clinical leadership, mentorship, and supervision to a team of BCBAs, BCaBAs, and RBTs.

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based ABA services in accordance with BACB ethical guidelines and best practice standards.

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of individualized treatment plans.

  • Conduct regular fidelity checks and program evaluations to maintain clinical excellence.

2. Team Management & Mentorship

  • Assist with onboarding, training, and managing clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

  • Provide ongoing mentorship, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities for clinical team members.

  • Conduct regular supervision meetings, case reviews, and clinical audits.

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and clinical innovation.

3. Program Operations & Client Collaboration

  • Support operational efficiency, scheduling alignment, and client retention within the Mesa center.

  • Build strong relationships with clients, families, and caregivers, ensuring active participation and empathy throughout care.

  • Address client and staff concerns in a timely, solutions-oriented manner.

  • Ensure all clinical documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory and funding source requirements.

Qualifications Required

  • Certification: Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the BACB.

  • Licensure: Current Arizona Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license (or immediate eligibility to obtain).

  • Education: Master’s or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of post-certification experience as a BCBA, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership, supervisory, or assistant management role within an ABA setting.

  • Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, analytical assessment, and team mentorship capabilities.
