The Winder Operator plays a crucial role in the textile manufacturing process, responsible for setting up, operating, and tending machines that wind or twist various fibers, including wool, hemp, and synthetic materials. This position requires a keen attention to detail, proficiency in operating slubber machines and drawing frames, and the ability to monitor machinery performance to ensure high-quality output. • Set up and adjust winding and twisting machines to meet production specifications.
