We’re looking for a senior marketing consultant to join our ranks. Commonwealth Advisor Marketing is seeking a senior marketing consultant with a high concentration of knowledge and skill in all facets of digital marketing, as well as basic understanding of traditional marketing tactics. In this position, you will be the Senior Marketing Consultant and main point of contact for up to seven (7) Commonwealth advisor firms. You will execute digital and traditional marketing strategies.
You will combine your knowledge of the web, blogging, email campaigns, and social media publishing with print, mail, and events to execute the marketing strategy for the advisors’ practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Curating and implementing monthly digital marketing editorial calendars for advisor blogs, e-newsletters, email campaigns, digital ads, and social media to align with overarching advisor goals
- Generating advisor website and blog evaluations for maintenance and content updates, as needed
- Implementing lead generation, niche prospecting processes, and workflow tools for each advisor and practice to drive business growth
- Establishing and measuring ROI and KPIs such as email click-through rates, social media engagement, and website traffic
- Learning and producing each advisor’s marketing plan based on their preferences
- Scheduling and hosting weekly or bi-weekly discussions with advisors
- Maintaining advisor branding (logo, design treatment, etc.), as well as stationery and brochures
- Collaborating with advisor’s office staff to ensure cohesive messaging and communications
- Providing coaching for events and seminars
- Collaborating with compliance to ensure content, brand, and messaging are approved
- Conducting market research and share discoveries with advisors
- Working as a digital vendor liaison
- Integrating LPL’s current tools into each advisor’s overarching plan
- Receiving and communicating feedback and program enhancement requests from advisors
Core Strengths and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field
- You must have 5-7 years of strategic marketing experience
- Solid understanding of ecommerce, PPC, SEO, and SEM
- Strong knowledge of CRM, inbound marketing tools, and web management
- Understanding of offset and digital print
- Basic understanding of events and webinars
- Working knowledge of web design principles, best practices, and content management platforms
- Capacity to support Commonwealth L&S advisors via phone and email
- Ability to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Good understanding of digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Google Adwords, and AdvisorStream
- Salesforce experience preferred but not required
- Financial services experience a plus but not required
