Job Description

SUMMARY

The Regional Sales Representative role is an outside sales position responsible for assisting the Regional Sales Manager in sales activities within the eastern US territory. The Sales Representatives’ primary responsibilities are to develop new leads and opportunities in targeted industrial plant locations. The Sales Representatives will develop these new leads into budgetary proposals with the goal of converting them to the firm proposal stage.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sell Alimak Group’s range of products and services to both new and existing customers.
  • Identify opportunities within existing customers’ facilities (new sales opportunities, refurbishments, upgrades, parts.)
  • Perform on-site equipment surveys while working at heights.
  • Develop and present budget proposals, nurturing them into the firm stage.
  • Target ageing and obsolete equipment within our existing customer base for refurbishment/ replacement.
  • Maintain all customer contacts, quotations, and sales activities in CRM cloud environment.
  • Maintain a good knowledge base on all products offered by Alimak Group.
  • Travel as required with a 50% minimum spent visiting customers.
  • Maintain and protect all company property assigned in a good professional manner.
  • Protect all company and customer information as private and confidential.
  • Other duties as assigned by management

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • U.S. work authorization
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field or 5 years industrial sales experience
  • Minimum 1-3 years sales experience
  • Willingness to travel 50%
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills
  • Reside, or be willing to relocate, within 75 miles of airport
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Possess strong ethical standards regarding the handling of confidential information
  • Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills
  • Computer proficiency MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Able to speak and communicate proficiently
