Description:

Wilson-McShane Corporation, a third party administrator for Taft-Hartley benefit funds, invites you to join our Information Technology team as an IT Support Specialist in our Bloomington, MN office. In this fast paced and varied role, you will be responsible for supporting and resolving a wide variety of issues.

This is an exempt position with a compensation range of $60,000 - $63,500 per year.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshoot PC desktop/laptop hardware and software issues.
  • Troubleshoot phone/softphone/fax hardware and software issues.
  • Provide support for users working remotely (VPN & RDP)
  • Provide first line support for phones/mobile devices
  • Responsible for primary upkeep of printers and copiers.
  • Provide setup of desktop and laptop computers
  • Deploy equipment used for meetings/training sessions as needed.
  • Provide both remote and on-site support to multiple office locations.
  • Responsible for hardware moves, adds, changes.
  • Manage and document workload using ticketing system
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

To perform the job successfully, an individual should have the following qualifications:

  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft products (Office, Windows, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • 2 year Technological degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings/nights as required.
  • Ability to stand or be on your feet for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work within confined spaces (under desk, small network closets, etc.)
  • Microsoft 365 and PowerShell experience desired
  • Ability to travel to other WMC office locations regularly and sometimes on short notice.
