Job Description

Pre/Post Sales Solutions Architect

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Pre/Post Sales Solutions Architect in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of sales engineering, reliability consulting, and cloud-native architecture, helping enterprise customers understand and adopt advanced reliability practices. You will act as a trusted technical advisor across the full customer lifecycle, from pre-sales discovery and proof-of-concepts to post-sales implementation and optimization. Working with some of the world’s most complex distributed systems, you will demonstrate how reliability engineering and chaos testing can proactively prevent outages and improve system resilience. The environment is highly technical and customer-facing, requiring strong communication skills and deep hands-on expertise in modern infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with sales, product, engineering, and customer success teams to drive technical wins and long-term value. This is a high-impact role where your guidance directly influences how organizations design and operate mission-critical systems.

Accountabilities:
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor across pre-sales and post-sales engagements, demonstrating reliability engineering solutions and guiding customers through architecture and adoption strategies.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions, proof-of-concepts, and customer workshops to showcase product value and drive successful adoption outcomes.
  • Educate customers on chaos engineering and reliability best practices, helping them identify system weaknesses and design resilient architectures.
  • Support existing customers by troubleshooting technical issues, advising on implementation challenges, and optimizing system reliability post-deployment.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to shape technical strategies, accelerate deal cycles, and secure new enterprise customers.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Support, and Marketing to improve messaging, product feedback loops, and customer experience.
  • Deliver technical demonstrations, webinars, and conference presentations to promote reliability engineering concepts and solutions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect or similar customer-facing technical role in a technology or cloud-native environment.
  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes environments (AKS, EKS, GKE, OpenShift, Rancher) and containerized infrastructure.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Linux systems, shell scripting, and operating system fundamentals including CPU, memory, and networking concepts.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible), and modern DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with observability and performance testing tools such as APM solutions, JMeter, LoadRunner, or Grafana K6.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP, and experience with REST APIs, service mesh (e.g., Istio), and related architectures.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Programming familiarity in languages such as Python, Java, or Go, with a strong understanding of distributed systems and reliability principles.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package including base salary, equity, and potential variable pay depending on role.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions.
  • Flexible remote-first work environment within the United States.
  • Opportunity to work with leading enterprise customers on mission-critical reliability challenges.
  • Strong culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge chaos engineering and cloud-native reliability technologies.
  • Inclusive work environment that values diverse perspectives and encourages innovation.
