- Lead the development of advanced machine learning and AI-driven ranking and recommendation systems that enhance personalization, engagement, and business growth.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of model development, including ideation, experimentation, training, validation, deployment, and monitoring in production.
- Guide and mentor a team of machine learning engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and accountability.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership to translate business objectives into scalable technical solutions.
- Manage prioritization of algorithmic initiatives, balancing technical complexity, timelines, and business impact.
- Establish and promote best practices in coding standards, experimentation, data management, and AI-assisted development workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning models, with strong exposure to recommendation systems or deep learning applications.
- 2+ years of experience in people management, with a proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop technical teams.
- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in production-grade code development and review.
- Experience with A/B testing frameworks, experimentation design, and performance evaluation metrics.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and large-scale data processing environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
