Job Description
Summary/Objective
The Cooler Technician, reporting to the Cooler Service Supervisor, is responsible for installation, repair, and maintenance of cooler equipment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lift and move 50 lbs. multiple times per day.
- Move equipment to perform installation, repair or maintenance procedures as needed.
- Prepare / set up equipment according to company standards for placement in the trade.
- Install equipment in customer locations according to company standards.
- Load and unload product from the equipment truck as needed to complete the installation procedure.
- Move equipment up or downstairs as needed to complete the installation procedure.
- Safely operate company supplied vehicles and maintain vehicles’ cleanliness.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Maintain positive customer relations.
- Any other duties deemed necessary to continue to keep our company successful.

Requirements:Education and Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- Refrigeration/HVAC trade or vocational certification preferred.
- Plumbing and/or elector/mechanical experience preferred.
Additional Qualifications and Competencies
- Demonstrated mechanical, technical and electrical aptitude.
- Basic computer skills.
- Able to work in a team environment.
- Self-Motivated
Work Environment
This position requires exposure to all seasonal weather conditions, traffic noise, automotive fumes, and cramped quarters.

The employee must frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and is frequently required to move large equipment (up to 900 pounds) with the help of a dolly. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Travel
Up to 75% daily local travel required. No routine overnight travel is expected.
