As a Finance Assistant at Lou Bachrodt Auto Group, you will play a vital role in supporting our finance department by assisting with various financial and administrative tasks. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring accurate financial documentation, adhering to all processes, and collaborating with team members to facilitate smooth financial operations.
Responsibilities:
- Professional and courteous appearance, phone etiquette and customer service skills.
- Verify credit card receipts & provide to accounting.
- Maintain confidential customer and company information.
- Establish and maintain strong relations with our accounting, sales, and managers.
- Maintain accurate daily, monthly, quarterly, and year-end folders.
- Handle all credit, DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles), purchase, and leasing documents.
- Communicating with Finance Managers regarding deals.
- Scanning deal into deal jacket.
- Ensure important and time-sensitive documents are shipped and tracked.
- Submitting contracts for funding.
- Ensure that all administrative processes are handled timely and in compliance with company policy.
- Other duties that will help proficiency in the F&I department.
- A High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to work with sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities to address discrepancies.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to consent to and pass a background check and drug screening.
- Notary Public, a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with automotive industry-specific software and systems: Reynolds & Reynolds, DocuPad.
All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks and drug test.
