Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you deliver evidence-based speech and language services to students K12 with language disorders, articulation delays, fluency concerns, voice disorders, and complex communication needs. You collaborate with special education teams, general educators, and families to support students in accessing curriculum and building functional communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals. Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in individual and small-group formats. Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to integrate communication strategies into daily instruction. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and student progress. Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences. Support augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) device implementation where appropriate.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working with pediatric or school-age populations preferred. Strong knowledge of language development, articulation disorders, and evidence-based intervention strategies.
