This role is designed for a hands-on automation and AI specialist who will build the backbone of enterprise workflows and intelligent systems across business-critical platforms. You will design, implement, and optimize integrations that connect systems such as CRM, ERP, and data warehouses into seamless, automated pipelines. The position blends deep engineering work with emerging AI practices, including agentic systems and retrieval-augmented architectures. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions. The environment is fast-paced, innovation-driven, and highly collaborative, with strong emphasis on ownership and engineering excellence. Your work will directly improve efficiency, reduce manual processes, and enable data-driven decision-making at scale.

Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for designing and maintaining enterprise-grade automation and integration systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance across business platforms. You will build AI-enabled workflows, develop data pipelines, and implement agent-based architectures that enhance operational intelligence.

  • Design and maintain automation workflows using enterprise iPaaS tools such as Workato or equivalent platforms
  • Build integrations across core systems including Salesforce, NetSuite, Snowflake, and Slack
  • Develop ELT/ETL and reverse ETL pipelines supporting analytics and AI use cases
  • Architect agentic systems, including tool use, memory/state handling, and human-in-the-loop workflows
  • Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines with vector databases and evaluation frameworks
  • Build production-ready automation scripts using Python, SQL, and JavaScript (or similar languages)
  • Ensure observability, monitoring, and governance for AI and automation systems
  • Maintain technical documentation, system diagrams, and version control in tools like Git-based workflows and documentation platforms
  • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
Requirements

This role requires strong hands-on engineering experience in integration, automation, and AI-enabled systems, along with the ability to design scalable enterprise architectures. You should be comfortable working across APIs, data pipelines, and modern AI frameworks in production environments.

  • 2–5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, automation, or integration development
  • At least 1+ year of hands-on experience with iPaaS tools (Workato or similar platforms)
  • Strong proficiency in APIs, system integrations, and workflow automation design
  • Experience with data engineering concepts including ETL/ELT, data modeling, and SQL/T-SQL
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, including RAG pipelines, vector databases, and LLM-based systems
  • Experience working with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud
  • Proficiency with development and collaboration tools such as GitHub, Jira, and Confluence
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to operate independently in complex environments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bonus: experience with certifications or advanced expertise in automation or cloud platforms
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary with performance-based variable compensation
  • Remote-first work flexibility across the United States
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage options
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions
  • Flexible PTO and paid holidays
  • Learning and development support, including certifications and training programs
  • Wellness and mental health support resources
  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and automation systems in enterprise environments
  • Collaborative, innovation-driven culture focused on engineering excellence.
