Human Resources Business Partner

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for serving as a liaison between employees, managers, leadership, and the Human Resources department regarding performance management, training initiatives, and organizational support functions
  • Supports retention initiatives through manager coaching, employee engagement efforts and organizational support strategies
  • Responsible for partnering with managers and leadership to address employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, corrective actions, policy interpretation, and employee counseling
  • Responsible for supporting performance management initiatives, including coaching managers on employee development, accountability, performance improvement plans, and documentation.
  • Responsible for developing, coordinating, and facilitating training initiatives across multiple departments and business units.
  • Responsible for supporting organizational design and workforce planning initiatives to align operational and staffing needs with company objectives.
  • Responsible for partnering with leadership regarding compensation-related matters, including job evaluations, internal equity reviews, and compensation recommendations.
  • Responsible for supporting change management initiatives and assisting employees and leadership through organizational and operational transitions.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate Human Resources records, employee documentation, investigation files, training records, and other applicable documentation.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, employment laws, and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of Human Resources policies, procedures, programs, and training materials.
  • Exhibits effective written and verbal communication skills while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Works collaboratively with Human Resources staff, managers, field leadership, subsidiary leadership, and executive leadership to support company initiatives and operational goals.
  • Builds and maintains strong working relationships with employees and stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrates initiative, creativity, urgency, and strong problem-solving skills in handling employee and organizational matters.
  • Some travel is required to support operational and organizational needs.
  • Will work collaboratively with team members and various departments to ensure tasks and organizational objectives are completed effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Human Resources experience required; HRBP or employee relations experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, employee relations practices, and employment law
  • Ability to effectively build relationships and influence leaders across multiple levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems preferred
