Production Manager in Port Richey, Florida at Bobby and Peter Enterprises Inc

RJ Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Production Manager / Multi-Axis CNC Programmer to manage daily shop production and create CNC programs for complex precision parts.

This is a hands-on position requiring strong leadership, advanced CNC programming skills, and working knowledge of AS9100 quality requirements.

• Manage daily CNC production, scheduling, labor, machine capacity, and delivery priorities.
• Program 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC mills and lathes using Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM.
• Develop machining processes, tooling plans, workholding, setup sheets, and operation sequences.
• Set up, prove out, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC programs.
• Create and maintain job travelers, inspection sheets, setup sheets, and work instructions.
• Review drawings, specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.
• Identify critical dimensions and define first-piece, in-process, and final inspection requirements.
• Ensure proper document revision control, material traceability, and production recordkeeping.
• Support AS9100 and AS9102 requirements, audits, corrective actions, and nonconformance control.
• Train and support machinists, setup personnel, and operators.
• Improve cycle times, setup times, tooling performance, quality, and on-time delivery.

• Minimum five years of CNC programming and machining experience.
• Production-management or CNC shop-supervision experience.
• Strong proficiency with Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM.
• Experience programming and setting up multi-axis CNC mills and lathes.
• Experience with 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis machining.
• Working knowledge of AS9100 requirements.
• Familiarity with AS9102 first-article inspection requirements.
• Ability to create accurate job travelers and inspection sheets.
• Strong blueprint-reading and GD&T skills.
• Knowledge of tooling, workholding, speeds, feeds, and machining processes.
• Ability to use precision inspection equipment.
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.

• Experience programming or operating a Tsugami Swiss CNC machine.
• Experience with Autodesk PartMaker.
• Experience with live tooling, sub-spindle, bar-fed, or multi-channel machining.
• Aerospace or defense manufacturing experience.
• Experience supporting AS9100 audits.

• Monday through Thursday.
• 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Four 10-hour shifts per week.
• Occasional overtime may be required based on production needs.
