We are willing to train the right candidate with a CDL-A drivers license. What You’ll Be Doing
As a Trailer Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our fleet safe, compliant, and on the road. This role is primarily based in our trailer shop, with driving responsibilities as needed to support operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on semi-trailers
- Diagnosing and repairing trailer components, including brakes, lights, suspension, tires, and other DOT-related items
- Supporting DOT inspections and ensuring compliance standards are met
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized shop environment
- Operating a semi-truck on an as-needed basis to cover routes during vacations, call-offs, or other staffing needs
- Communicating clearly with operations and maintenance teams to keep equipment moving and downtime minimized
- Hands-on experience with semi-trailer maintenance and repair
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and consistent attendance
- Flexibility to transition between shop work and driving responsibilities
