Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a versatile engineer who enjoys working across the stack, solving complex problems, and building products in fast-moving environments. You should be comfortable adapting to new technologies and collaborating within a distributed team.

  • Experience developing modern web applications across frontend and backend environments.
  • Ability to work across the full stack and understand how different layers of an application interact.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, execution-focused mindset.
  • Experience designing and building APIs, backend services, and data-driven applications.
  • Comfortable working in remote-first, asynchronous teams with strong written communication skills.
  • Curiosity and interest in emerging fields such as Web3, decentralized technologies, biotechnology, or open science.
  • Ability to independently manage tasks, take ownership, and contribute to technical direction.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with blockchain development, smart contracts, or decentralized applications.
  • Background working with scientific data, research environments, or technical domains related to science.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Experience working in early-stage startups or high-growth technology environments.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work environment with flexibility to work from anywhere.
  • Opportunity to contribute to impactful projects at the intersection of science and technology.
  • High ownership role within a small, collaborative team where individual contributions have significant impact.
  • Competitive compensation package with token and/or equity components.
  • Opportunity to influence product direction, technical strategy, and engineering culture.
  • Work alongside talented professionals focused on innovation and meaningful global impact.
