As a pre‑revenue organization entering a pivotal stage of development, we are seeking a meticulous and driven SEC Reporting Manager to establish our reporting framework, lead the creation of compliant financial disclosures, and build the foundation for robust, long‑term governance and compliance practices.
About the role
As the SEC Reporting Manager, you will be a key pillar of our financial reporting infrastructure. You will own the preparation of all SEC filings, ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations, and support the development and maintenance of a strong financial reporting function. This role offers the opportunity to build and enhance reporting processes within a rapidly scaling organization.
What you'll do
- Financial Reporting Own the end‑to‑end preparation, drafting, and filing of periodic SEC reports (Forms 10‑K, 10‑Q, and 8‑K), including financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A.
- Technical Accounting Research and document technical accounting positions on complex areas such as share‑based compensation, warrant liabilities, and other accounting matters.
- Internal Controls Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to design, implement, and maintain a robust SOX 404 internal control environment.
- Audit Coordination Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors during quarterly reviews, annual PCAOB audits, and internal control testing.
- XBRL & Compliance Manage the XBRL tagging and review process to ensure accuracy and compliance in all submissions.
- Reporting Structure Reports to: Chief Accounting Officer / Chief Financial Officer
Qualifications
- Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Certification CPA license highly preferred or actively in progress.
- Experience 4–7 years of accounting experience, ideally blending Big 4/public accounting with corporate SEC reporting.
- Skills Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX internal controls. Experience with financial reporting software (e.g., Workiva) is a significant plus.

Salary Range: $125,000 – $140,000 per year
Bonus: 15% Annual Target Cash Bonus (tied to milestone achievements and company performance)
Equity: 100% Base Salary Match Initial Equity Award (Restricted Stock Awards / RSAs)
The pay range for this role is:
