Sedron Technologies is hiring a talented Lab Analyst in Fair Oaks, Indiana!
Sedron is a leading provider of circular waste management technologies for agricultural manure and municipal biosolids processing, deploying facilities across several North American regions. Because we design, build, commission, and operate our technologies, we are looking for individuals who can meet the following essential functions of the position:
- Analyze samples from the production process, including raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Accurately record test results and observations. Analyze data to identify trends, deviations, and potential issues, providing timely feedback to production teams.
- Perform routine and non-routine testing in accordance with established protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure all testing meets regulatory and company quality standards.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate lab equipment and instrumentation, ensuring it is functioning properly. Troubleshoot and resolve any equipment issues promptly.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulatory requirements, including maintaining clean and organized workspaces. Participate in safety audits and training as required.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records, reports, and documentation to support quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Assist in the preparation of certificates of analysis (COAs) as needed.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and R&D, to support continuous improvement initiatives and resolve quality issues.
- Manage lab inventory and forecasting of supplies.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
Experience: 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Certifications / Licenses: None - Desired/Preferred Technical Skills: Analytical experience in the following areas: titrations, colorimetric analysis, filtration, distillation, extraction, dilution/solution preparation, pH measurements, conductivity measurements, moisture analysis, sample preparation, pipetting, understanding analytical interferences, and instrumentation experience.
- Other Required Competencies: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Must have effective verbal, reading, and written communication skills in the English language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proficient in laboratory techniques and equipment, such as, chromatography, spectroscopy, molecular techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Minimum requirement for all positions is a high school diploma or GED
- Must have effective verbal and written communication skills
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- This role may qualify for a discretionary bonus, recognizing outstanding contributions to team and company success
- This role requires approximately 10% travel to support Sedron facilities
- In compliance with state and local pay transparency laws, the expected compensation for this role is shared above. The range provided is Sedron’s estimate of the base compensation for this role and the final offer will be based on job-related and non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and geographic location. Compensation may be adjusted within this range to reflect regional cost-of-living differences in states where Sedron is hiring.
