We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to serve as a primary therapist for our adolescent clients. The teens in our care often present with anxiety, depression, low self-worth, emotional dysregulation, and relational difficulties with peers and family. As primary therapist, you will carry a caseload and provide individual therapy, family therapy, and running groups.

This is a collaborative role. You’ll work within Blume’s established clinical leadership structure with the support of an experienced director team that values your clinical perspective and wants to integrate it into the broader treatment framework.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as primary therapist for adolescent clients, carrying a caseload and overseeing continuity of care from admission through discharge
• Provide individual therapy targeting emotional regulation, self-esteem, identity development, interpersonal functioning, and resilience
• Provide family therapy focused on improving relational dynamics, strengthening communication, and equipping caregivers to support their teen’s progress beyond treatment
• Facilitate structured therapeutic groups addressing coping skills, communication, conflict resolution, healthy relationships, and real-world problem-solving
• Develop and refine individualized treatment plans that reflect each client’s unique goals and broader mental health needs
• Collaborate with Blume’s clinical leadership team and multidisciplinary staff to support consistent care across the milieu
• Participate in clinical team meetings and case consultation, and maintain documentation consistent with residential treatment standards

Education/Skills Requirements

• Licensed or license-eligible in the state of California as an LMFT
• Clinical experience working with adolescents and families across individual, family, and group modalities
• Strong foundation in evidence-based interventions for adolescents
• Comfortable working within a collaborative, team-oriented clinical environment
• Experience in residential, partial hospitalization, or intensive outpatient settings is a plus
• Genuine passion for helping teens and families heal and grow
