Project Manager
GDIT has an opportunity to oversee a complex program that drives impactful mission outcomes for our customers as a Project Manager for CDC NCHS HEHR (Hospital Electronic Health Record Survey) mission and public health modernization initiatives.
The objective of this role is to support and execute the generation of national hospital statistics using HEHR from hospital onboarding, data ingestion, customer service, analytics and operational dashboards with an AI modernization lens.

The likely salary range for this position is $121,550 - $164,450. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

- Oversee and provide leadership across all task areas; ensure program meets and exceeds expectations by overseeing program activities, timeliness, budget and internal quality control standards;
- Serve as primary liaison between the client and internal team; facilitate activities between the internal team, customers and partners, providing continual status reports and resolving issues in a timely manner;
- Manage customer expectations with regard to the program and related activities; explore methods for improvement, and make recommendations to for improving and/or enhancing the program;
- Ensure integration of program management team, reviews progress and evaluates results. Ensure secure handling of PHI/PII. Collaboration across teams.
- Operate in CDC/NCHS environments supporting HIPAA, CIPSEA, FISMA, NIST RMF. Stack: Azure Stack, MS SQL, Power BI, Python, Angular/React, NodeJS, R, Java, REST APIs.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED (Qualifications)
Education & Experience
- Must have Ph.D. with 6 years or MS/MBA with 8 years or BA/BS with 10 years or AA/AS with 12 years of progressive senior level management and organizational experience.
- Experience with IT support, data security and federal public health research/surveillance is required. CDC/HHS experience supporting HIPAA, CIPSEA, FISMA, NIST RMF Is preferred.
- Experience with Azure Stack, MS SQL, Power BI, Python, Angular/React, NodeJS, R, Java, REST APIs desired.
