Vanguard Resources, Inc. (VRI) is actively recruiting for an experienced HVAC Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to lead our on-site VRI HVAC maintenance team at the Samsung Semiconductor manufacturing campus in Taylor, Texas—one of the most advanced semiconductor facilities in the United States. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish and grow a new maintenance operation supporting a world-class client. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong commercial HVAC experience, proven supervisory skills, and a passion for developing people while delivering exceptional customer service. As the HVAC Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, you will work closely with Samsung leadership and VRI's corporate operations team to build a high-performing maintenance program focused on safety, reliability, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of HVAC maintenance technicians.
- Perform and oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial HVAC systems.
- Ensure equipment reliability, system uptime, regulatory compliance, and safe work practices.
- Coordinate daily maintenance activities and prioritize work assignments.
- Partner with Samsung leadership to provide responsive, customer-focused facilities support.
- Collaborate with VRI corporate leadership on recruiting, staffing, reporting, budgeting, and operational initiatives.
- Assist with hiring and expanding the maintenance team as the operation continues to grow.
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:Qualifications
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience supervising commercial HVAC or facilities maintenance teams.
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC equipment, maintenance practices, and troubleshooting.
- Texas Class A Air Conditioning License (TACLA) strongly preferred.
- EPA Universal Certification preferred.
- OSHA 10 Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain after hire).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and computerized maintenance reporting systems.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Ability to walk extensively, climb stairs and ladders, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
