This is an exciting opportunity for a patient-focused professional to support clinical research by connecting eligible participants with innovative studies focused on central nervous system (CNS) conditions. In this fully remote role, you will guide prospective participants through the recruitment journey, from initial outreach to scheduling screening visits, while delivering a compassionate and informative experience. Working closely with clinical research teams, you will contribute directly to study enrollment goals and help accelerate the development of new treatments for neurological and psychiatric disorders. It is ideal for professionals who enjoy meaningful conversations, thrive in a metrics-based setting, and are passionate about improving access to clinical research.

Accountabilities
  • Conduct inbound and outbound calls with prospective clinical trial participants, responding promptly to referrals, website inquiries, and marketing-generated leads.
  • Perform detailed prescreening interviews using study-specific eligibility criteria to identify qualified participants for CNS clinical trials.
  • Educate potential participants about clinical research, study expectations, and the screening process while building trust and rapport through compassionate communication.
  • Schedule eligible participants for screening appointments and coordinate closely with clinical research staff to support enrollment activities.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation of all participant interactions within recruitment systems, CTMS, or CRM platforms.
  • Follow up consistently with prospective participants throughout the recruitment process to maximize engagement and conversion.
  • Ensure all communications comply with HIPAA, GCP, IRB, sponsor, and site-specific requirements.
  • Meet established productivity, quality, scheduling, and documentation metrics while identifying opportunities to improve recruitment outcomes and participant experience.
  • Participate in team meetings, ongoing training, coaching sessions, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in patient recruitment within the clinical research industry.
  • Previous experience recruiting participants for CNS clinical trials is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of psychiatric and neurological conditions, including disorders such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, migraine, Alzheimer's disease, or other CNS indications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional, empathetic, and patient-centered phone presence.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working toward daily and weekly productivity, quality, and enrollment goals in a metrics-driven environment.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation.
  • Experience using CTMS, CRM systems, patient recruitment platforms, or electronic prescreening tools is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and clinical research regulations is an advantage.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, distraction-free home office.
  • Spanish language skills are considered a plus.
  • Availability to work full-time, transitioning from an initial Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern Time schedule during onboarding to a regular Monday–Friday 12:00 PM–8:00 PM Eastern Time schedule.
Benefits
  • Fully remote position based in Brazil.
  • Full-time employment with structured onboarding and ongoing professional coaching.
  • Opportunity to contribute to life-changing clinical research focused on CNS disorders.
  • Collaborative international team environment with continuous learning and development opportunities.
  • Exposure to diverse clinical research studies and advanced patient recruitment practices.
  • Meaningful work supporting patient access to innovative treatment options and medical advancements.
