Overview

Lutron is looking for passionate and driven engineers to join their Global Service & Experience Center, at the Cyber City, Gurgaon, as an Applications Engineer. In this role, you will be the part of product and solution training team. Your contributions will help to maintain our market position as the world leader in smart lighting and shading systems. By working in a collaborative environment, you will be exposed to, and trained by, industry experts who will aid in your professional development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and Deliver Training: Create and conduct training sessions and training Content for Solution providers, Designers, Architects and Customer facing professionals.
• Products & system Demonstrations: Provide hands-on demonstrations and explain technical and functional details of Lutron Systems.
• Conduct Certification Programs: Design and administer certification programs for the Lutron Solution providers across the market segment (Residential, Commercial & Hospitality)
• Own the Customer Experience infrastructure and Customer walkthrough at Lutron Gurgaon Office.
• Technical Expertise: Be a technical expert on Lutron solutions across the product offering. Offer expert support and guidance to Internal and external stakeholders
• Update Training Offering: Regularly update training content to reflect new products, Solutions and industry standards.
• Feedback and Improvement: Gather feedback and enhance training materials based on participant input and industry trends. Relationship Management with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Customer and Partner Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with Customers, distributors, and Solution Providers.
• Sales Support: Assist the sales team with technical training and presentations to prospective clients. Administration and Reporting
• Training Coordination: Schedule and coordinate training sessions, manage Training execution and track participant progress.
• Reporting: Prepare reports on training effectiveness and monitor industry trends for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4–7 years of experience in lighting control solutions, lighting design, architecture, or interior design.
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with domestic and international stakeholders.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional weekends as business needs require.
• Open to travel extensively (up to 70%) across India, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Middle East, and Southeast Asia.

Desired skills

• Knowledge of lighting design, lighting control systems, and automated shading solutions.
• Experience developing and delivering technical training, certification programs, and training materials.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Effective stakeholder engagement, customer support, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Enhanced analytical, problem-solving, and adaptability skills to address technical challenges and evolving business needs.
