Compensation Range: $40+

We are seeking an experienced Senior Refrigeration / HVAC Technician to join our commercial foodservice service team. This position focuses on servicing and maintaining refrigeration, HVAC found in restaurants, commercial kitchens, and foodservice facilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment in restaurants and foodservice facilities.
• Troubleshoot walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines, and other refrigeration systems.
• Service HVAC systems, exhaust systems, make-up air units, and kitchen ventilation equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
• Replace compressors, motors, controls, valves, fans, and other components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, and equipment documentation.
• Communicate professionally with restaurant managers, customers, and dispatch.
• Document repairs, parts needed, and recommended follow-up work.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial refrigeration/HVAC experience preferred.
• Experience working in restaurants, commercial kitchens, or foodservice facilities strongly preferred.
• EPA 608 certification required.
• Strong electrical and refrigeration troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and handle service calls efficiently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Compensation Transparency

The advertised pay range for this position is $40+. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, specialized expertise, and overall qualifications. Candidates with advanced commercial HVAC and refrigeration experience, manufacture certifications, CFESA, or leadership experience may be considered at the higher end of the range.
