• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using modern cloud-native architectures.
• Build and optimize multi-tenant applications deployed on AWS with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and security.
• Architect reliable backend platforms that support high-performance communications and data transport systems.
• Implement infrastructure and deployment solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern DevOps practices.
• Champion software quality through testing, code reviews, performance optimization, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with customers and technical partners to support service integrations and deliver solutions that meet operational requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers by providing technical guidance, code reviews, and architectural leadership.
• Take ownership of complex engineering initiatives from design through deployment while contributing to the team's technical roadmap.

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development.
• Extensive experience with Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native application design and experience with at least one major commercial cloud platform.
• Proven ability to architect, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing backend services and APIs.
• Experience leading technical projects and driving engineering best practices across development teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to independently own complex technical challenges.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including experience working directly with customers or stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and adapting to evolving technologies.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
• Authorization to work in the United States in accordance with applicable export control regulations.

• Base salary ranging from $160,000 to $185,000 USD.
