Job Description
The Office of Sponsored Programs, a central pre-award office at the University of Pittsburgh, is seeking a temporary Grants Data Assistant to support the setup of internal electronic records in our electronic research administration (eRA) system. This is a short-term position reporting to the Assistant Director for Grants Management.
Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain internal electronic records in the eRA system
- Enter and verify data related to sponsored project proposals and awards
- Organize and reconcile records to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Assist office staff with related administrative and records tasks as needed
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Comfort learning and navigating electronic database or records systems
- Ability to work independently and manage a high volume of records
- Prior experience in research administration, grants management, or a university sponsored programs office is a plus but not required
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
