Pay: $25.00–$35.00/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM; overtime required as needed

HTI is hiring an experienced MIG Welder for an established manufacturer of industrial storage and material handling systems. The company is relocating to a brand-new facility in Easley, creating an opportunity to join the team as it grows in its new space.

• MIG weld structural steel components used in industrial racking and storage systems, including beams, uprights, and braces.

• Read blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.

• Set up and adjust welding equipment for different materials and thicknesses.

• Fit, align, and assemble components before welding.

• Inspect welds for quality, proper penetration, and conformance to specifications.

• Use measuring tools to check dimensions and alignment.

• Communicate material, equipment, or quality concerns to the team.

• Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow all PPE requirements.

• At least one year of MIG welding experience in manufacturing or fabrication; structural steel experience strongly preferred

• Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings

• Experience using tape measures, squares, gauges, and other measuring tools

• Attention to weld quality and the ability to meet production goals

• Ability to stand throughout the shift, perform repetitive tasks, and lift up to 50 pounds

Experience with pallet racking or other material handling products and AWS certification are pluses.
