Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Chief Architect – DevOps & Observability to define and drive enterprise-wide DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, and Observability standards. The ideal candidate will have strong enterprise architecture experience combined with hands-on expertise in DevOps, DevSecOps, Cloud, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and Observability.
Key Responsibilities
- Define enterprise DevOps/DevSecOps Gold Standards, reference architectures, and Golden Paths.
- Establish standards for CI/CD, IaC, Kubernetes, GitOps, security, automated testing, and release management.
- Define enterprise Observability standards for metrics, logs, traces, APM, cloud, Kubernetes, APIs, and databases.
- Establish SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, KPIs, alerting, dashboards, and telemetry standards.
- Evaluate emerging DevOps, DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, and Observability technologies.
- Lead POCs/POVs, technology evaluations, and Build vs. Buy vs. Partner assessments.
- Create reusable CI/CD templates, Terraform modules, security integrations, dashboards, and onboarding frameworks.
- Drive enterprise adoption of DevSecOps and Observability standards across application and infrastructure teams.
- Partner with Engineering, Security, Cloud, Operations, and AIOps teams to implement and govern standards.
